Lloret De Mar Pelayo April 10, 2019 Workforce 1 Denise Heffron had a successful profession as a project administration skilled till she was laid off in February 2018. Shortly after she misplaced her job, Denise began looking online for resources to get again to work. She discovered National Able Network and shortly attended a program orientation. After attending orientation at National Able Network’s Pilsen workforce growth center, Denise applied for and was accepted into the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program (WIOA). She had found the connection she was in search of to get further job search help and get her project management career on monitor! We had the prospect to interview Denise and ask her a couple questions about her experience! Q: What companies did you receive at National Able Network? A: “I participated in JUMPSTART! coaching and acquired help writing my resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and getting ready for interviews. I thought all 4 lessons had been great and nicely structured. They helped me stay current and updated!” Q: What resources had been useful during your job search? A: I attended a job fair in Evanston, and likewise obtained nice training and recommendation from my career coaches, Stephanie [Mena] and Coral [Duarte]. Q: What recommendation would you give to others like yourself? A: I am very grateful to National Able. I obtained coaching and stored myself present in my subject.
